This lighthearted, easy moving trip will take you through the shifting currents of Folly Creek’s maze of tidal creeks that wrap around the uninhabited Hammock Islands. Family and Friends Kayaking is paced for novice and younger paddlers alike. The laid back atmosphere offers a chance to view wildlife such as Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, aquatic turtles, Loggerhead Sea Turtles and assorted waterfowl, all common sights on Folly’s pristine salt marsh estuaries. An experienced local guide will lead you and the group through these beautiful coastal waterways, taking time to talk about the natural surroundings and Charleston’s cultural history. Requirements: Minimum of two people. Participants in single kayaks must be at least 12 years of age; participants less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
