Renting is a wonderful way for one to explore the waterways of Folly Beach and take in all the sights and sounds the Lowcountry has to offer. COA offers a wide range of high quality kayaks and Paddle Boards for all guests and experience levels. Rental options are Sit-on-Top kayaks, touring kayaks and paddle boards.
All COA kayaks and paddle boards are new 2011/ 2012 model. Touring kayaks that have built in rudder systems, this allows for hands free steering. We fit you to a kayak/ paddle board that is comfortable for you and appropriate for your skill level. Kayaks and Paddle Board rentals include: kayak or paddle board, paddle, PFD, spray skirt (for closed cockpit kayaks), pump, paddle float, map of Folly Beach and surrounding estuaries waters.
All kayak and paddle board rentals come with a updated weather forecast, tidal and chart information, free paddling instruction/ advice and full use of our on-water access an private facilities. COA has secure private parking, private restrooms, private changing rooms and private on-water access to the saltwater estuaries: away from the cluster of the Public Boat Landings and Folly Road.
Kayak Rental Fee: Daily and Weekly Rentals are available$35 for single kayak (4hr.)
$45 for a double kayak (4hr.)
$50 for a single 24 hour rental
$60 for a double 24 hour rental
Paddle Boarding Requirements: 12yrs. and older
Paddle Board Rental Fee: Daily and Weekly Rentals are available
