News from nature! Early summer is such an exciting time in the marsh. We have the arrival of migratory & transient species like sea turtles, painted buntings & red winged blackbirds. If lucky enough, you also may see the more rare roseate spoonbill. Also laying nests in the sand are sea turtles- primarily the loggerhead sea turtle. Summer is also the time of mating & birthing for our residential bottlenose dolphins. READ MORE

Full Moon Tours
Come out to Bowen's Island and see Charleston through a whole new perspective. The entire experience is sensational. We venture onto the water just as the sun starts to paint the sky in vivid pastels. After a few last stubborn rays of the day escape over the horizon, watch as the moon illuminates the quiet salt marsh. We feel that this final, moonlit portion of the tour is the most special.
