Our Full Moon Kayak Tour is the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy exploring the marsh as the brilliant sunset fades to dark, moonlit skies. ⁠This easy moving trip will take you through the saltwater estuary behind Folly Beach giving you the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife such as dolphins, wading birds, pelicans and crabs. While it is still light out, your naturalist guide will lead you through beautiful coastal waterways, taking time to talk about and point out the local ecosystems, indigenous species, fauna and flora. This tour is a perfect and unique way to unwind and relax, bringing family and friends together to experience the wild side of Charleston.

Liability Waiver

Each guest must complete an electronic liability prior to arrival. There is no need to bring/print a copy. If you cannot complete it online please plan to arrive extra early.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement for a single kayak is 13 years old.
Participants 12 years old and under must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring

Water, hat, sunglasses, shoes and a camera or phone to document your adventure. Dry bags are included for personal items.

Amenities

Our location offers parking & restrooms. Bathrooms can be used before and after tours.

Pet policy

For safety reasons, dogs/pets are not allowed on full moon tours.

What an awesome experience! We decided last minute to take advantage of having babysitters on our extended family vacation and take the full moon tour as a date night. Our guides were awesome and we even saw a dolphin jump out over one of the guide’s kayaks. What a great decision and what fun it was. We will definitely return especially when our kids are a little older.
