Our 3-hour marsh tour is for the more experienced paddlers and aspiring naturalists. On this longer, moderate-paced trip, paddlers are able to explore a wide variety of the Lowcountry’s scenic marshland, tidal flats, bays and hammock islands. Follow your expert guide through a maze of salt water creeks and tidal flats nestled behind Folly Beach. Home to over 70,000 different species, these waterways offer unparalleled opportunity to see wildlife such as Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, wading birds, sea turtles, and pelicans. Learn about these special areas, the issues that affect them, and what you can do to help conserve our coastal wetlands. Requirements
- Minimum age requirement for a single kayak is 13 years old.
- Participants 12 years old and under must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Experience recommended for this longer trip.
